We are a therapist owned and operated outpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility. Cheston and Kim Loving opened Active Development Therapies, LLC in the summer of 2004. We specialize in pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. We believe that children are unique individuals and should be treated with a holistic team approach. We strive actively to involve our client's families in our treatment planning and home program activities to assist their child's development to its fullest potential in their home, school, and community environments. We offer a multi-disciplinary approach to therapy to give our clients the maximum quality of care possible.
We are located north of Houston, Texas in East Montgomery County. We have been in business for four years. Our therapists, however, have a combined experience of 20+ years in pediatric therapy. We have several unique treatment techniques which include intensive physical therapy, Therasuit training (suit therapy), Universal Exercise Unit, Vital Stim therapy, oral motor therapy, Cranial Sacral therapy, kinesiotaping, myofacial release, behavioral therapy (ABA), sensory integration therapy, visual-perceptual, and auditory processing.
We work with a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Aarskog Syndrome, Angelmans Syndrome, Autism, dysphagia, apraxia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, Spina Bifida, spinal cord injury, Transverse Mylitis, Guillaine-Barre Syndrome, Dystonia, Muscular Dystrophy, neurological disorders, genetic disorders, and overall developmental delay. We accept private pay, private insurance, Medicare, traditional Medicaid, Medicaid HMOs, and CHIPs. We are currently in network with the following private insurance companies: Blue Cross Blue Shield (HMO's & PPO's), Physician Healthcare Services (PHCS), Aetna (HMO's & PPO's), and United Healthcare. We are able to bill other private insurance companies through your out-of-network benefits and we are actively seeking additional contracts with several other insurance companies. |
