Kim Loving PT, DPT, Director of Habilitation/Administrator/Founder

Kim received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015 and her Master of Physical Therapy in 2000 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She founded Active Development Therapies, LLC in 2004 in her home town of Porter, TX with a goal of making a difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities through a multi-disciplinary TEAM approach offering exceptional Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services. She has 24 years of pediatric experience, 3 years in pediatric home health and the last 21 years as owner/operator of Active Development Therapies pediatric out-patient clinic.

Mindy Stripling Office/Billing Manager

She has 17 years of experience working in Pediatrics for Active Development Therapies. She has over 30 years of office and medical billing experience in a variety of settings: Therapy services 16 years, Nephrology Physician 15+, and Emergency Physician 3 years. She has taken numerous coding, billing, HIPPA, and office continuing education courses and seminars and has many valuable years of on-the-job training.

Physical Therapy Department

Aryn Jordan PT, DPT, Assistant Director of Habilitation/Alternate Administrator

Aryn received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Women’s University-Houston Campus in 2018. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas Women’s University-Houston. She has 7 years of experience working in Pediatrics for Active Development Therapies.

Keri Morris PT, MPT

Keri received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah in 2003. She has worked in multiple states in pediatrics. Keri is NDT trained, and has been with Active Development Therapies for the last 14 years.

Michelle Murphy PTA

Michelle received her Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Houston Community College in 2016. She has 9 years of experience working in Pediatrics for Active Development Therapies.

Occupational Therapy Department

Kristin Casbon OT/L

Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Colorado State University in May of 1992. She has 33 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist and has specialized in Pediatrics for the last 24 years!

Abby Dorsa OTR/L

Abby received her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from West Virginia University in May of 2023. She has a diverse background with international experience in both pediatric occupational therapy and education. She is enthusiastic to apply her global expertise to make a meaningful impact with our patients and their families.

Kaydene Soto OTA

Kaydene received her Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from Western New Mexico University in 2012. She has 12 years of experience in Pediatrics working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a variety of out-patient settings both traditional therapy clinics and Applied Behavioral Analysis focused clinics. She also has experience in the School district setting as a Deaf Education Paraprofessional, Campus Job Coach and Special Education Clerk.

Speech Therapy Department

Rhonda L Jackson MA, CCC-SLP

Rhonda has over 40 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a variety of settings with both pediatric and adult clientele with a wide range of diagnoses. Her joyful personality and high energy levels are infectious and brings out the best in her clients in their treatment sessions. She has traveled the world as a CCC-SLP, but has moved back to Texas to finish her career. She has been an Excellent addition to our TEAM since July of 2024.

Chelsea Thompson Ed.D., CCC-SLP

Chelsea received her Doctorate of Education in 2019 from the University of Houston, her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman's University in 2015, and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Houston in 2013. Chelsea has worked in pediatrics as a Speech Language Pathologist for 10 years in both the school and clinic settings working with a variety of diagnoses. She began her journey with Active Development Therapies as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in 2015. She completed her SLP-Intern (CF) with New Caney ISD and received her Certification of Cllinical Competence in 2016. Chelsea has worked as an Independent Contractor for Active Development Therapies since 2020.

Support Staff

Yesenia Martinez

She is bilingual and has 12 years of experience working in pediatrics for Active Development Therapies. She started with our company as a Rehabilitation Technician and translator for a year and then was promoted into our front office Administrative Assistant position, where she served our clients for 10 years assisting with scheduling, translating, record management, billing support, and patient intake. Yesenia, stepped into yet another new role with our company this last year as Referral Coordinator where she continues to serve our clients with acquiring prescriptions and authorizations for therapy services, insurance verification, record management, translation, and billing support.

Anna Hernandez Administrative Assistant

Anna has served as our Rehabilitation Technician and Translator for the last year, assisting all our physical, occupational, and speech therapists with our clients in their therapy sessions. She recently was promoted to Administrative Assistant in our front office where she assists our clients with scheduling, answering phones, record management, patient intake, and backs up our Rehabilitation Technician and Referral Coordinator as needed. She has 1.5 years of experience working in pediatrics with Active Development Therapies.

Elisia Paul Cabrera Rehabilitation Technician

Elisia assists all our physical, occupational, and speech therapists with our clients in their therapy sessions. As well as, he serves as a translator and backs up our front office Administrative Assistant with scheduling, answering phones, and record management. He completed observation hours with Active Development while attending Kingwood Park High School as part of his Health Occupations studies. He is currently working part-time with Active Development Therapies, while he pursues his EMT certificate at the College of the Mainland.

Alexa Berry Billling Assistant/Rehab Technician

Alexa assist our Office/Billing Manager with data entry and claims submission for a few of our Insurance providers. She also assists all our physical, occupational, and speech therapists with our clients in their therapy sessions as a part-time Rehabilitation Technician. She completed a clinical rotation with Active Development Therapies as a Student PTA in the Spring of 2025.
